Connect a Phone Number
To make and receive calls with Replicer you need at least one VoIP phone number. This guide shows you how to purchase and configure one from the dashboard.
Access the VoIP section
- From the dashboard, click Settings in the sidebar.
- Select the VoIP tab.
Here you'll find the list of numbers already linked to your account and the button to add new ones.
Search for an available number
- Click Add number (or the equivalent button).
- Select the desired country from the list.
- Choose the number type:
- Local — Number with a geographic area code
- Mobile — Mobile number
- Toll-Free — Toll-free number
- (Optional) Enter an area code to filter results.
- Click Search to view available numbers.
TIP
The cost of the number varies by country and type. The monthly price is shown before purchase, including any markup and fixed fees.
Purchase the number
- From the results list, select the number you prefer.
- Confirm the purchase. The cost will be charged to the payment method linked to your Stripe account.
- The number will appear immediately in your VoIP list.
Configure the number
After purchase you can configure the number:
- Assign an inbound agent — Select the agent that will automatically handle incoming calls on that number.
- SIP configuration (advanced) — Set username, password and domain for integration with external VoIP systems.
Assign an inbound agent
- Click on the number in the list.
- In the detail panel, select an agent from the dropdown.
- Save the changes.
From this point on, all incoming calls on that number will be handled automatically by the selected agent.
Delete a number
- Click on the number in the list.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
WARNING
Deleting a number is irreversible. Active or scheduled calls on that number will be interrupted.
