Make a Call

Once you've configured an agent and connected a phone number, you can launch an AI call in seconds.

Start an immediate call

  1. From the dashboard, click Calls in the sidebar.
  2. In the main section you'll see the form to create a new call.

Required fields

FieldDescription
Recipient numberThe phone number to call (E.164 format, e.g. +1 555 123 4567)
AgentThe AI agent that will handle the call
Source numberThe VoIP number the call will originate from

Optional fields

  • Contact — Select a contact from your address book. Their data will be automatically used to pre-fill the agent's dynamic variables.
  • Dynamic variables — If the agent uses variables in its prompt (e.g. ), you can fill them manually or leave them pre-filled from the selected contact.
  1. Click Start call to launch the call immediately.

TIP

If you select a contact from the address book, agent variables like customer_first_name, customer_last_name, customer_company, etc. are automatically pre-filled from the contact's data.

Schedule a call

Instead of starting the call right away, you can schedule it for a future date and time:

  1. Fill in the fields as for an immediate call.
  2. Enable the Schedule for later option.
  3. Select the desired date and time.
  4. Confirm.

The call will be executed automatically at the specified time.

Configure retries

You can set a retry policy in case the call doesn't succeed:

  • Maximum retries — How many times to retry (default: 0, no retry).
  • Delay between retries — Waiting time between attempts.

View call history

After a call is completed, you can view its details:

  1. Go to CallsHistory.
  2. Use the filters to search through calls:
    • Status: Completed, Failed, In-Progress
    • Agent: Filter by specific agent
    • Direction: Inbound or Outbound
    • Period: Select a date range
  3. Click on a call to see its details: transcript, duration, metadata.

TIP

You can export call history in CSV format for external analysis.

Scheduled calls

To view and manage upcoming calls:

  1. Go to CallsScheduled.
  2. Here you can see all calls waiting to be executed.
  3. You can cancel a scheduled call before it's executed.

Browser call (Web Call)

Replicer also supports calls directly from the browser, without needing a VoIP phone number. This feature uses your computer's microphone for a direct conversation with the agent.
